JUST LAUNCHED

In August 2019, Cockermouth Linking Lives in Cumbria was registered as our first project in Cumbria. The scheme will be run by Churches Together in the Cockermouth Area (CTiCA) and has the backing of Cumbria County Council, Allerdale Borough Council, Cockermouth Rotary Club and Cinnamon Network.

We were very grateful to have been approached by a team at Opus Energy last year, who were wanting to raise money through sponsored events this year, to address loneliness and social isolation among older people. They.
Linking Lives UK is part of a coalition of faith based charities called ‘Christians Together Against Loneliness’ which has been consulted in plans for a national campaign starting this week, which aims to raise awareness of issues.
