Please note that we are currently not able to accept new referrals for home visiting at this time due to the Covid-19 virus. We are making regular calls to those who were previously receiving visits and this will continue until further notice. LONELINESS

CHANGE BEGINS WITH JUST ONE PERSON

South Liverpool Linking Lives is a befriending scheme that connects isolated older people with new friends, helping them feel part of their community again. We link volunteers (DBS checked, interviewed and trained) with older people for visits. We also host two weekly groups and regular outings.

OUR FOCUS

Linking Lives brings people together to support socially isolated older people through home visits and engagement in social events and activities in the community. Weekly visits of between one and two hours, enable volunteers to make a significant difference to the lives of older people.

We receive referrals from local organisations, friends and family members. Volunteers are fully vetted, interviewed, trained and linked up with someone matching their interests and personality.

We are part of a national network of projects through Linking Lives UK.
