Training for your scheme or project
Training is a key building block of the Two’s Company befriending scheme model offered by Linking Lives UK.
This section of our website includes resources for self-directed learning, for revisiting session you have attended, and to use in delivering live training when appropriate.
You will only be able to access those resources and services you are subscribed to.
Book onto Volunteer Induction
Click here if you are a new volunteer befriender with a Linking Lives or Two’s Company befriending scheme, and you wish to join one of our Induction sessions. This may also be useful if you are an existing volunteer who would like to brush up o the latest training. The session is held on Zoom and lasts about 3 hours. Various dates and times are available. If you cannot make any of the times offered, please ask your Coordinaotr to contact us for alternatives. (This link takes your to our EventBrite booking page.)
Training resources for Volunteers
Follow-up resources for befriending scheme volunteers who have completed Induction Training, including virtual handouts and guides. If you are a new Volunteer on a Linking Lives or Two’s Company befriending scheme and you have have not yet completed Induction Training, please sign up for a session (link to the left of this one)
