After 12 months of careful preparation Bellingham Linking Lives is now ready to appoint its first paid Coordinator, recognising how the scheme has put down roots in the local area. Fiona Thomas, who has been developing the role in a voluntary capacity says “This is a new opportunity for someone with the right skills and experience. I look forward to continue supporting the scheme through a new role as Chair of the Steering Group, once we have appointed the new Coordinator. The funding for the 12 months post has come from National Lottery Awards for All, which has been a great encouragement to our work.”
