Vacancy – Support Services & Administration Manager
15 Hours per week
Initial one-year contract (Review after 6 months)
Based – Near Reading
This is an exciting opportunity to join a ground-breaking Christian charity working to combat loneliness and social isolation on a national level. We work with churches and Christian organisations across the country to support them in establishing befriending schemes, and there are already 31 partner projects (hubs) operating. In each area, volunteers regularly visit older people, and social events and activities are also organised.
We are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic and confident person to join our team as our Support Services and Administration Manager . This role will involve providing support and guidance to Linking Lives hubs through regular reviews and informal communication, as well as reviewing, developing and improving administrative systems including file management and other day to day processes. Appropriate training will be provided where necessary.
This role would suit someone with previous experience in administration, ideally within a charity working to support older people. We are specifically looking for someone with the relevant experience who shares our vision to reach and support isolated older people.
